I'm considering making the leap into the smaller scale, and have been looking at what rules are available. I'm currently playing 40k and Flames of War, plus 15mm Gruntz and enjoying all of them. So far I've found Micro FUBAR and Horizon Wars, but uFUBAR doesn't have a points system and HW seems to have pretty generic units. I'm intending on starting with Brigade Models for forces, and I'm interested in combined arms battles, with air support if possible. Any suggestions from the veterans?

You know I really enjoyed the Epic: Armageddon rule system.

A good back and forth fell with many aspects, artillery, air support, dropships, etc.

I second Epic:Armageddon.

Also check out Future War Commander.

Alien Squad Leader is intended for 15mm, but since it uses stands of infantry rather than individual bases, it would work for 6mm (and is a lot of fun).

A lot of folks use Hordes of the Things with 6mm sci fi.

Thanks for the answers everyone. I'm sure Epic is good, but I'm looking for a system where I can build my own force. I like the look of Laserstorm and Strike Legion, just got them from Wargame Vault. Future War Commander also looks promising, I'll have to grab it sometime.

I am suprised someone hasn't mentioned Polyversal yet. Of course it is supposed to be available now but I don't think it is.

The Chicago Skirmish Wargames guys have their PZ8 mod with points…
Outside of that there is also Prophecy Of War and Iron Cow…
