So Happy Pi day to all in TMPland!

My question is what is your favorite Pi or Pie.

Mine is Pumpkin,
followed by Apple.
Although, other than lemon, I never met a Pie I didn't like.

Derby pie. Because the only thing that makes pecan pie better is when you add a lot of chocolate to it.

Any Pie works for me !!!! pie We do like Eat and Park's selections !

At this time of year with Easter on the way. My Mom, Aunts, etc. would make couple of types with Riccota cheese. Kind of like an Italian Cheese Cake ! Can only find it in Specialty Stores, these days.

Also they made a pie with cheese, eggs, ham and sausage, forget the name. I guess it would be kind of like a Quiche ?

But since it is well known "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche", I was safe … evil grin

Those were my favorites back in my youth … old fart

Iced French Apple
Wet Bottom Shoe Fly
Pecan

While enjoying any of the flavors listed in this thread, you can contemplate the circumference of the plate on which it is served.

Make mine either lemon meringue or pecan.

Right now, I'd like a nice meat pie, maybe a Karelian-style poropirakka with a hard-boiled egg on top, or a savory beef pastie like they make in the part of England near Stonehenge.

By 3:14 this afternoon, however, when I'm actually going to eat pie, I think it's going to marionberry, a California specialty.

Key lime pie, made with loads of condensed milk, like they do in the USVI, specially at Hook, Line & Sinker (St. Thomas).

Scotch pie (round, flat top, full of savoury minced lamb). Lovely.

But do not not, ever, eat one deep fried. I bought a deep fried one once, in a chippy in Corby (a Scottish ghetto in rural Northamptonshire), just out of curiosity. Never again. It was inedible, just gopping. One bite and the rest went in the nearest rubbish bin. I did think of offering it to a passing dog, but I don't like to see animals suffer.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake — that's what we had for breakfast this Pi Day!

Cranberry-Rhubarb Pie — my own invention, I freeze cranberries in the fall to have in rhubarb season.

Pumpkin Chocolate — another invention.

Boston Cream Pie — invented at nearby Parker House (also birthplace of the eponymous rolls)

Game Pie — rabbit, duck, and venison!

Just wondering …

What would a Pythagorean Pie be made of?

It would be made from a number of things.

Not a fan of pie, (pizza dosn't count)
Only pie I even half like is ham and cheese.

Cerdic15 Mar 2018 5:30 a.m. PST

Good point Gunfreak. Why do Americans call pizza a pie? It clearly isn't a pie. Pies are pastry cases with a sweet or savoury filling…

Not necessarily … e.g. Shepard's Pie, Chicken or Beef Pot Pies, Steak & Kidney Pie, etc. evil grin
