I actually like the pirate miniature. The weapons are not oversized at all, although the earrings look like they would pull her ears off, unless they are bamboo painted to look like gold. She looks old enough and tough enough to be in command of a pirate crew. The high heels are plausible, as she would want to minimize the height difference between herself and the men in her crew. The exposed breasts suggest, however, that she is actually a middle-aged Vegas hoofer playing in a baudy production of Pirates of Penzance in some off-Strip venue. |

Oberlindes, records indicate that at least one female pirate in real life would open her shirt in *exactly* this fashion while taking over a ship. Just to inform the defeated crew they had been beaten by a woman. |
