Hello, Just a bit of historical curiosity. What was the typical armor worn my the Janissary Corp, especially in their early yesterday in the 15th century. When European knights were wearing full plate.
What did the Ottoman army have? The typical look is the classic musketeer
Maybe early on it was more like this…

I'm away from my references, but I don't think the Jannisaries wore armor. The Sipahis did but they, like the knight you show were strictly mounted troops. |
