All,
I have to start story by saying that I live in South Jersey, 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. This is the heart of Eagles country, you know, the guys who just won the Super Bowl. Anyway, I placed an order last Monday for the three volumes of Bob Boze-Bell's Classic Gunfights. First class communication on their part all around. Tracking told me the books would be arriving today. I waited for the postman, expecting to see a large package on my porch. Well I go out to the mailbox and see a strangely soft package addressed to me from True West. Inside this package, is a packing slip saying the books should have been there. Instead, what the package contains are three very nicely mounted (right term?). football trading cards, of the DALLAS COWBOYS!! The mortal enemies of the Eagles. Hopefully, it will get sorted out tomorrow, but I think someone in the shipping department is going to get a chewing out. |

Well, cowboys, anyway. And cowboys=gunfights? I once knew a bookstore which had Brautigan's poetry collection "Trout Fishing in America" in the Sports section. |

Ha! I just ordered the first volume the other day and it arrived today. Fortunately, I got a book and not a football card. Darn cool book, and I intend to order the other two as well. |
