Hi All,
I am starting to play ACW with 6mm figures and together with my friends we think to use excellent Baccus figures as the bulk of the armies.
Besides we would like to have some alternatives and so I'd like to know if someone has bought and painted Rapier 6mm ACW figures and if you can tell me how they compare with Baccus.
TIA
Marco

I only have Baccus and Rapier ancients which are very size and sculpt compatible, but if it is the same sculptor they used for their ancients line they should match very well. I am sure you could e mail them or call and get a response on that.

Wot Bashy said.

The ancients ranges go together well and I would expect the same applies to the ACW figures.

Thank you very much guys.
I'll drop a line to Rapier. Unfortunately they won't attend Salute 2018 so I'll not be able to see their fgures in the flesh:-)

A bit of a news flash! As you may know, Baccus makes all of their marching figures in the wrong pose for the ACW, left-shoulder shift. And debates have raged on these very pages.over whether or not it matters in 6mm. But I've just received samples of their new right shoulder shift items, not even numbered as yet, but BEAUTIFUL figures, completely compatible with Baccus, but better proportioned! Not only are they posed correctly, but they offer two poses each for Union and Confederate! Each side gets right shoulder arms and right shoulder shift. I'll be posting some pics and a detailed review on Monday, but I just wanted to let you know they're out there!
