Anyone know of any manufacturers who produce figures of pilots/observers in 1/285 or 1/300 for WWI aircraft? Thanks, Tom

Heroics and Ros modern figures M7 Soviet Airborne Troops are wearing padded jump helmets. You could cut the figure off at the shoulders and use them. Just a thought.

I agree – at 1/285 the figures will only be roughly representational at best but will still look really good.

Although I use 1/144 models I convert model railway figures. They work well. I cut them about waist level then trim them further to fit. Painting is dead easy and quick.
