Are there rules for horses in Bolt Action. I am not thinking of major cavalry units I just mean like a mounted patrol or horse teams for artillery. I know there were thousands of horses used by the Germans, Russians and several of the smaller nations for all types of things. I also just stumbled into a few very nice mounted figures and was trying to figure out if there is an official way to use them or if I will have to house rule them.

I would think that at Bolt Action's chosen scale, horses would likely be kept off table and away from the actual combat zone.

WW2 did have at least one successful cavalry charge. That said I do not remember cavalry rules in BA but it was not a priority when I was reading through it.

Yes, there are rules and unit organisations for cavalry troops in Bolt Action.
