I am sorry, make blades from tin cans? Cut it out with what? Why, so you can cut yourself when making it and playing with it? |

It's much more realistic if it can actually cut something. |

Use a heavy duty scissor or small metal snips. To "unsharpen" the edge, hit it with a rasp. I've had no cuts or other injuries doing this. |

I have made spear tips with aluminum foil, covering with superglue to add some stiffness. Might not work for something that sticks out like a pole ax or halberd. Toothpaste tube material probably would be good. andy |
