I received a bit of money and would like to blow it on 1 or two riverine monitors. Battlefront has them 25% off right now and they look good. Of course you have to pay for shipping because apparently you can't combine the nam stuff with regular battlefront stuff. ( also want to buy the department store at some point.) Peter Pig has a patrol craft that I already have but nothing bigger. Flashpoint has no monitors. Anyone else make monitors? Thanks Joe |

Thanks for the responses. BM, those look nice and they have a seal boat which I have never seen. Is that a legit company? Never heard of them. Is it 15mm? Sgt, I couldn't find any on Old Glory. All they have is one landing craft. Did I miss them? HY, those look great but I am looking for 1/100 ( 15mm). Thank you for the suggestion. I wasn't clear in my original post. Any other thoughts? Keep them coming. Joe |

Joe, Gomi is a legit company, and I have one of their 15mm ATCs. The owner is also a really nice person to deal with. |

This might be of help for back ground and general information: link I was looking for variants of the Monitor. It seems what was called 'program 5' was a variation that removed the fwd 40mm turret, and replaced it with the 105mm howitzer, from the WW II amtracs used by the marines in the pacific.

I have a couple of the Gomi PACVs, they're pretty nice beasts. Huge, but very nice. |
