These just arrived today – my first sets of Technolog figures. There are Cossacks, Norsemen, Samurai and futuristic Alien warriors. Really nice figures. I will be ordering more.

Here is a review of the Russian-made warriors and aliens:

Enjoy!

I love my Technolog stuff.

We regularly play RoboGear, my favorite 35ish-mm mech combat game. Played with or without real firing missiles, either way I am game.

I have loads of the HexFormer and Platformer sets. Syberclicks too. Even those big old chunky ruins sold under Pegasus are actually Technolog I believe.
I even have one of their CastleCraft sets. The castle is nice if a bit small. But the game that goes with it is beyond me, it's in Russian.

Love the 5 fingers and 1 thumb on the Varan Aliens. The Vikings are very believable. They didn't actually wear horns or wings on their helmets.

Thanks for pointing out Laserblade. I just bought a copy and gave it a read. A nice fun simple looking game.

Personally I've found the quality of the plastic Technolog use sketchy at best and some of the designs a little meh – they also knock off other peoples designs. However, if they tidied up the quality of their act and made an effort to sell into the 'west' they'd probably do some good business – they have some good ideas and clearly some design talent. As pointed out they do some good terrain sets and their prices are pretty competitive.

The aliens are using em4 space ranger heavy weapons.

Not obvious as they've been tinkered with – but it looks like they used them as a base. Curious choice!
