These are the leaders I've done for the Istvaan III game I'm running at Historicon this year. These guys will have the Sons of Horus contingent for either the Loyalist or Traitor sides.
Garviel Loken is our Loyalist commander. He was in the Mournival, the inner circle advisers of Horus, and it was felt that his loyalist leanings could not be dislodged from his character. On the other hand we have Mokal Shelis.
In his cataphractii warplate he leads the 4th company of the XXXII Chapter of the Sons of Horus into battle. He prefers to close with the enemy allowing his thick armour to shrug off enemy fire until he can rip them apart with his twin lightning claws. |

Thanks guys. Glad you liked it. The back drop is from the First Strike boxed set for 40K. It is a little paper battlemat that comes in the box. I've had the set since historicon but hadn't opened that until yesterday. What battle are you guys doing for your big game? |

I don't know yet. I don't play 30k normally. I have some Custodes and Imperial Knights I can use. All I know is Friday night we are doing a multiplayer Necromunda game (I'll have genestealer cult), and Saturday we are playing a big 30k battle.. |
