Some key dates for RECON 2018:
4 April. Last day for GMs to submit their games. Already over 100 events. Remember if a session is full we decide by when the game was submitted as to which ones make it and which ones need to be rescheduled. Same goes with ability to support non-standard table sizes. Also the cut off date for making the printed program.
11 April: Last day to register at pre-registration rates. Also last day to sign up for games (IF you have pre-registered) or to sign up for a flea market table. 14 April Last day to get special convention rate at hotel. Remember that our special rate waives the resort fee of $16.95 USD! In past the hotel honored the rate up to the actual convention but contractually they do not have to. Also be aware that our block is filling up pretty steadily right now. Regardless of date the hotel does NOT have to honor the special rate once our block is filled. They have been able to release more rooms to us in the past but that is not a given. For those of you who are miniatures players there are, at my last count, 70 games in several genres. Plenty of fun for all at a great venue. Time to register. |

If you like the Sword and the Flame, and who doesnt, there will be a table dedicated to various scenarios using those rules throughout the convention. It will be capped off, Saturday evening, by Nick Zizo's (aka Nick Pasha) "Battle of Rorke's Drift" game. NOT to be missed! |

And, as of this morning, 125 games of which 79 are miniatures. Still time to get your games in. With many of our "regulars" waiting until the last minute should hit at least a 100 miniature games as we usually do so plenty for everyone! |

Just got my last box in from the distributor. It contained one each of all of the packs for the new Blood in the Skies, WW2 aviation. There were also new products like Team Yankee and the mare Nostrum board game with expansion.
Over 100 TANK and Wings of Glory kits as well.
The sale on remaining Zvesda stock will be 5 for $10 USD for World War 2 kits. the modern kits retail for more so are not part of that sale. They have their own discount level. |
