DA BUG….

Here's a look at the Chinatown I built for a couple of games I'm running at Little Wars. Got the inspiration for it from Celestial Alley in HBO's Deadwood series. Will be using it in both Perdition and Deadwood games next month.

The front end of Chinatown features Mr. Wu's house, the House of Blue Lanterns Opium & Pleasure Parlor and Yick Young's Laundry. House shells are from Eric Hotz's venerable Whitewash City line. Interiors are scratch built. Each building has its own little vignette.

Chinatown is run by the mysterious and inscrutable Mr. Wu. He provides labor, entertainment and sanitation services for the town.

Miss Lee makes sure the pipes stay filled at the opium parlor. Currently she has two couches, no waiting.

Yick Young runs the laundry facility. His deliveryman also helps smuggle in opium.

Wu's pigs are always available to reprocess the town's garbage, as well as the dead bodies that pop up now and then.

We'll be running games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Little Wars.

I wasn't reading the captions, but when I saw the second picture, I thought, "That looks like Wu."

Uh, why does the opium have to be smuggled? Surely TR hasn't gotten the Pure Food and Drug Act through Congress yet?
