This question could work either way, does your artillery often cause problems for your enemy or conversely cause your army trouble. I had a friend whose Union ACW troops had a supporting battery that every battle would unlimber, fire and instantly run out of ammo and retreat from the fracas. He would get so frustrated by this, but still funny.

In our Spanish Civil War games we often get free artillery strikes as a event. And as often as not due to deviation they hit our own side. |

I like to think that my artillery solves problems. |

Yes, LOL ! It generally does not cause me problems … but hopefully will cause my opponent many problems ! Of course sometime it misses the target/scatters, etc., at the most inopportune moments … Murphy must be the FO or FDC … "Big Joe: [shouting in the radio] Look, Mulligan! I don't think I'm getting through to you! You're dropping your damn barrage on our position! The reason you can't hear me is because you're firing your mortars at your end, and they're dropping here, on our end! No, the Krauts are not here! We're here! Mulligan, your bombs are coming down on our head! I don't know where the Krauts are! Just lift your barrage! Over!" Kelly's Heroes

Usually the problem is when I can't use it due to inability to range in or when it ain't effective. The Minions gif is quite funny. |
