Very cool!

That's impressive! And I love the windshield reflections on the vehicles, I wonder if he made custom decals or hand painted them.

Very nice. Not dis-similar to the free plans for the one on Matakishi's Tea Room.

See the link for the PDF at the bottom of the page. I would love to do a "clean-line" city board like this but my storage is limited.

Thanks for the link Tango.

Nice work and very clean. Almost too clean. I imagine soldiers picking up their brass after firefights.

Looks really nice!

Reminds me a lot of architecture in Masamune Shirow's mangas

Awesome. One of things that is consistently missing in a lot of cityscapes is the cars. This one doesn't lack in that detail. Some of those cars have been on my want list for a while and I just haven't pulled the trigger on them yet. Maybe this year.

I asked him about the terrain source and how he did the car windshields on his log:

Unit576 March 2018 at 08:23
Thanks John. The windshields are just hand painted stripes of grey with small white and coloured dots. I was aiming for an effect of the city being reflected off them. The gloss varnish I used to finish them went on a bit thick in places unfortunately.

Most of the terrain is produced by a company called Miniature Scenery.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Really cool. Only 2 gripes I have is that the buildings are too homogeneous looking (as far as color and design aesthetic) and there are no civies wandering around and getting in the way. Key component there of city fights, dontchaknow!

But I DO really like that there are multiple street levels, yards, and parking spaces even. People always forget those.

Is anyone scratch building anything like these for 15mm?

I'd love to see some tutorials that take into account the smaller scale/size.

Thanks

Dan

If you like it Micro Art Studios is having a 15% off sale today. I just took advantage of it and bought some of those cars.

I guess this will be the year after all.
