Greetings all,

Has anyone had sight of this book? I should be grateful for an opinion.

Oooh, that does look intriguing. I would appreciate any reviews from folks here too.

Loved it.

It debunks some common myths about this unit IIRC.

I've read it. It was light on specific military history (battles) and very dry reading. I quite liked the chapter on Prevost.

Well, there were actually few battles in this war, so not surprising. Since the regiment had four battalions, and they often served in different campaigns, and even the battalions were often broken up – again, not surprising it might be light on low level details.
