Love "Lost Battles" as a book for source material but just couldn't make the leap to use the rules.

I have to say I was in the same boat, thought it was an excellent resource and analysis of ancient battles but couldn't get away with the rules. I then came across some blog posts and videos with a few games with miniatures and was impressed by how they gave a good battle account.

It did take quite a leap for me but I'm pleased I gave them a go.
