I have seen rumors in multiple places that a large bag of 54mmish plastic friars exists. Supposedly all the same pose. I think they have staves. I am wondering if Bunkermeister or one of you other chaps have seen such a thing. Perhaps it is still available out there?

I haven't seen them, but one pose holding a staff sounds like they might be recasts of the Marx Friar Tuck.

That's likely.

Cloudcaption, Eagle / Griffon games makes a Bishop/Monk figures with a staff in very big 1/72nd scale plastic. Really, more 28mm size. He goes with their Age of Empires III as a Missionary. They are sold separately, but not 54mm. They do sell him separately.

I think there may be several Marx Friar Tuck figures, at least one may have a staff, but they are likely at least $1 USD each, or more.

Good luck.
