Has anyone found a match or close match for this color? I've used it for my Italian WWII armor covered in a brown wash and straight for my British 8th Army desert uniforms.

Mine had dried up and I've got loads more of both to paint up! And of course it's no longer produced.

I've had friends suggest some other colors to paint my Italian armor but would love to find something similar to the PS Earth Yellow.

Cheers,
JB

And here I thought I was the only one who was still using Polly S…

Best paints ever! Still got a bunch!

I like 'em too and still have a handful.

King's Hobby Shop in Austin, Texas might still have some Polly S paints. Two visits ago, the store still had a bunch of loose bottles. At a glance, it seemed that mostly aircraft and modern colors were available, but there were some WWII colors too.

When I visited King's yesterday (March 3), I didn't see the Polly S paints in the spot they'd previously occupied. But parts of the store are being reorganized and other things were moved too.

It could't hurt to contact King's and ask if they might have any Earth Yellow. The owner and people who work there are very helpful

Good luck! If King's doesn't have your paint, then Joe's suggestion would probably work just as well.

I still keep the Poly-S going as well, some back to 1979!

Jeigheff, thank you for the heads up. I'm going to try out both yours and Joe's ideas!

I've still got tons of good Polly S!

I found a local railroad hobby shop in Oakland Park Fl had a box of 300+ Bottles of Polly S. I looked through every single one!!! No Earth Yellow, but I did find USSR Light Earth and Italian Camo Yellow. I'm trying both out this week as they look similar, at least in the bottle.

Gotta love the response from fellow hobbyists. Thanks folks!

Cheers,
JB
