I would like to buy some 28mm Acheson Creations trenches for WW1 gaming but am a bit baffled by the offerings in their web store. Very little info is provided and many pieces have no photos. I am posting here for posterity's sake as I'm sure others to follow will have the same issue.

So far as I can tell all the individual 28mm trenches are 6"x6" and meant to build a modular trench system. Can't absolutely be sure, however.

Questions:

Are all the trenches compatible? For example can I mix English, German, WW1 and Alipne trenches for a seamless trench line?

What do the English and German bunker deals include, specifically? They are listed as 8 and 4 "modular pieces" each but what do they build? Can they be stretched out into a trench line in addition to some sort of square or rectangular complex?

What does the beauxcoup expensive "WW1 German Observation Bunker in ruins of Montfaucon Church" look like? How big is it? Does it have removable parts? The notion that one would spend $160 USD+ based on a title and no other information is probably far-fetched for many.

Mr Acheson, if you added a 1 paragraph blurb as a preface to the 20th century range (basically the Home Page) answering some of these questions, especially about the dimensions and compatibility of these pieces you would be doing your customers a big favor.

I don't really see any way to buy a decent sized trench system (I'm looking for 4-6 feet of trenches) given the information (or lack of information) you are providing. At least also tell me the contents of the bundle deals. As a customer I am totally blind here for what could be a large purchase.

All in the spirit of constructive feedback and with great admiration for your work. Thanks for your assistance.

Always worth checking a Google image search. Here is what I turned up. Looks like most of the sight unseen Acheson components are on display, including the Montfaucon Church – but I could be wrong…

Thanks Robert. I came across that image before I wrote this via Google search as well. It helps a little bit, but I'm still hoping for concrete details--maybe from the company. I tried contacting them via email too and haven't gotten any response.

No worries. Keep us posted with how you get on. I have the Grand Manner trench system so can't comment on the details of the Acheson products.
