They look great. I like the scarves that match with contemporary photos.

Stunning. Will there also be an 8th Army range?

Hornswoggler01 Mar 2018 8:29 p.m. PST

@Piers,

Always find your stuff inspirational. With demise of TheGuild ( :o( ), would you consider resurrecting your blog to publish your fantastic work for those outside the Battlegroup community ?

If you are in the States these figures will be previewed at Cold Wars
Convention in Lancaster, PA in March at the Eureka Miniatures USA booth.

Hornswoggler,

To be honest I think the blog is long dead… We have a project area and galleries on our new Battlegroup forum and encourage any miniatures or periods there so I put most there.

I also have a Patreon page but I'm mainly using that for tutorials.

Most WiP pics however just go up in my Facebook page as it's so easy to do, though granted, Facebook isn't for everyone, nor a good place for discussion long term.

You cannot really beat Tony Barton.

I agree , however I think the gap is narrowing . Case in point is some of Leon Adler's sculpts

Beautiful sculpts. Let's hope they are not as big as the Russians previously released by AB

Because every 20mm soldier should be 20mm in height… link

It's the size of the equipment that matters.

AB Russians are ALL 7 feet 7.5 inches then…
And their Germans, Brits, Americans are ALL 5 feet 10 inches…

AB Russians are beautiful but they don't fit with the rest of the range, period.

PiersBrand02 Mar 2018 2:54 p.m. PST

They work fine for me… mix in well with my Wartime, Battlefield and CP Russians.

Hornswoggler02 Mar 2018 7:08 p.m. PST

Thanks Piers
