I've completed my Saxon warband from Gripping Beast
the warlord is a conversion but even so I think he looks the part
all in all I'm a real fan of Gripping beast plastic figures. The plastic Dark age Warriors look pretty uninspiring but once they have a layer of paint on them I think they look pretty good

Thanks guys, I really enjoyed painting these guys. Thanks Larry I'm really impressed with the gripping beast plastics. They certainly paint up nicely. Thanks Phil, I'm a true fan of these little guys. Foxweasel thank you also, I suppose having a severed head isn't the most friendliest of images. torokchar thank you its much appreciated. I've made a start on the first 8 viking warriors. So they should be joining the a fray pretty soon. Thanks again guys
