I acquired a platoon's worth of GZG's Outer Rim Coalition troops and painted them up using a revised version of the process I tried here replacing the dry brushing with a second spray coating:

The ORC figures are typical GZG in style, size and proportions, which may not be to everyone's cup of tea, but I find they play well with the other figures in my collection. Detail is generally distinct and crisp and there is plenty of it, mould lines are present but pretty minimal. The poses are adequate, not terribly inspiring, however there aren't any bad ones. Though I've never been sure about figures using scanners through a visor? The squad support weapon is a little oversized and the anti-armour weapon isn't my favourite design. The command team come with range of scanners and tablets. My only major quibble with these guys and the weapons crew is the lack of an obvious sidearm. The heavy weapon and gunner fits well together.

Overall I'm very pleased with the figures and the way they've taken the paint job. I'm planning to use vehicles from Brigades Mercenary range as they look high-tec, but not that hi-tech, which seems right for an Outer Rim Coalition.

Good job Rou.
The yellow/gold visors really came out nice with the white armour.
Closeup pics would be most welcome.

Keep it

The visors are just gold acrylic strait onto the white base coat. I'll try and post a close up or similar.

I bought a load of these minis as soon as they were released because they looked so cool, i finally decided to use them for a near future IDF contingent with some modified IFV's and a couple of the old 1/87 scale Heavy gear mecha to round out the force. Anyway great miniatures great paint job and tutorial.

Close up as requested, well an edited version of one the original pics, anyway since they've been consigned to a storage box for the moment.

Huzzah!

Those ORC's do look pretty spiffy.

Personally I'm not fan of bikes in games for a few reasons, though I might spring for a couple if they look like credible recce assets. Anyway I'm saving for vehicles…
