Ah so there are others that have been bitten by that bug.

Thanks for sharing your blog. You are further along with your project than I am. I have the figures, vehicles and some craters. Will scratch build the moonbase. But working out the rule changes from TW to work on the moon is taking some time. So someday I hope to get this project off the ground.

Yeah, same here. I´m a fan of Ian Douglas/William H. Keith´s and I love the series. The first two books, Semper Mars and Luna Marine are the best of the lot IMO. I ordered a few of those minis too! Terrain looks easy enough too. I might get around to fighting the first Battle of Picard Base too!

When I was a kind, I so wanted to buy the Yaquinto board game "Marine:2002". Because in the far future of the year 2002, there'd be a Soviet/US war on the moon.

Being chronically short of cash, I never did. The designer of the original actually did a second edition, although probably for legal reasons, it has a different title. Your post has reawakened my long dormant urges – although now that I'm older and wiser obviously I'll use toy soldiers rather than mere cardboard!

Someone said William H. Keith, so yes I am using Traveller for Moongrunt. Which is only appropriate considering the manufacturer.

I so want both set of the figures, but looking at the huge selection of Vaac/Suited figures I already have to finish.
