I've never seen anyone try to make anything like these before.

I guess a few of those would fill up the entire table, if done for anything over 15mm or 10mm.

You're underestimating table size and how many big things people are willing to throw at each other.

Very interesting look for Tanks or APCs though. Remind me of Zeon flying machines in Gundam.

Wasn't there a really bad CGI movie recently, about some clones riding across marshes on a high speed "tank-like" vehicle that looked a bit like one of those in that picture?

It was called Worm something. They destroy some special/sacred tree in the end.

Wow, I was way off. Garm Wars: The Last Druid (2014).

Those look like a bit of the inspiration behind those Miyazaki-esque Piggy tanks I see every now and then.

Primary design philosophy = "If all else fails, add more Sponsons!"

Maybe that was the direction they were initially going with this.

Scrolling through some of these pulp covers is a hoot! On page 2 "Mans Life", one of the lead stories is "Bowling, Americas #1 Sin Sport". Who knew your local bowing alley was a hotbed of lust and debauchery? Must be it happens on League Nights.

Kind of like the Akuyaku 1 Go

Didn't you know? There's bowling, and then there's "bowling". ;)

That Akuya 1 is lovely.

That Akuya comes pretty damn close!

Reminds me of the tanks in "things to come"

One of my favourite movies as a kid. Was rewatching it on high rotation just before Xmas. (It and Zulu)

DyeHard27 Feb 2018 1:44 p.m. PST

The "Things to Come" tank has that cool mono-tread. I would love to see it from more angles to see the design.

Here is a scale comparison with 15mm figs to the Akuyaku 1 Go.

I am not sure why I did not include a pig crew member in the shoots they are in static pose, but still nice.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the Pegasus Hobbies 1/72 'Jaguarundi'. It has been discussed before here on TMP.

I have one box (two models) and am very happy with them as armour for the 15mm Space Rangers.
Need to get another two.
Very easy to put together models, 10-15 minutes till they are ready for painting.
Might paint mine red white and silver.
Need a bigger gun, so am going to just use a tube as a sleeve over the gun.
