I just finished painting a snake for my games. It's the sort of thing I might have sculpted myself, if trusted with a chunk of modeling clay, a flat place to roll it out, and a toothpick to draw diamond shaped scales. So far as I can remember, I bought Mr. Snake back in the 1970s, and must really have been excited and liked him because it only took me 40 years to finish painting him!

Anybody else have any similar stories?

I was in my storage unit last week, and saw the box that holds the snap-together Dimetrodon I bought 40 years ago. I believe that I have painted its head, but nothing else. Maybe when I retire.

Strikes me as it could be a very serious traveller opponent.
