The British now move further down the road to Bremen and on to Map 4 of the campaign. Having dealt with the Heer platoon defending the previous map, the question now was, what lay ahead?

Would it be fierce resistance or meek surrender? Perhaps the thunderous blast of a Kriegsmarine supermine? Or then again, some German farmers quietly going about their business?

The added unknown factor of what map is defended and, if it is, if the defenders will stand and fight adds another layer of suspense to what is turning out to be a great little campaign. The British never know what they will face next and the German commander is never sure if the men will defend the area assigned to them.

The full AAR for the next stage of the campaign is here Road to Bremen Scenario 4

Great AAR, thanks for posting and I enjoyed reading it. It reminds me of why I like Chain of Command so much!

Thanks. JLA105, Chain of Command really does give a very satisfying game experience and the pint-sized campaigns just make it so much richer. I love scenario based gaming and this campaign has a great feel for Germany in 1945 – there's no way I can 'win' but I am enjoying working hard to lose with style :-)
