Looking for good "wargamers" books that cover some of the overall history and strategy but also give some detail to the tactical aspect of the battles.

The following may be of help in this area: -The End of Empire: Napoleon's 1814 Campaign by George Nafziger. -Napoleon: Against Great Odds by Ralph Ashby. -Memoirs of the Invasion of France by Baron Fain. -Napoleon and the Campaign of France, 1814 by Henry Houssaye. James Lawford's Napoleon: The Last Campaigns: 1813-1815 is seconded. 1814 is also covered very well in the Esposito/Elting Atlas. These will also be helpful: -Napoleon et des Allies sur le Rhin by Lefebvre de Behaine. -No Peace with Napoleon by Armand Caulaincourt.

In addition to the above, all excellent suggestions gentlemen, try Michael Leggiere "The Fall of Napoleon" His works on die Befreiungskriege are also recommended.
