I found a bunch of cards (starter decks and booster sets) marked down at a local bookstore. It appears as if this is a dead system (no pun intended). I have a daughter going on 13 who appears to have some interest in the Weird West. Do you think this is worth picking up? Is it an easy transition from cards to using a table with terrain and miniatures, or is it not suitable to turn into that type of game?

The starter techs are less than $5. USD The booster packs are $15 USD for a box of 24 or 36 (I don't remember the count). How many starter decks do I need? They also have various episodes. What are those? Thanks.

Doomtown was rebooted a few years ago as a living card game with preset starter box and sets. It went oop but has returned to print again. Check boardgamegeek.com for the game's listing. I own multiple core boxes and all the expansions. Bought them cheap on sale and used. The rebooted system is better than the original ccg.
