I see that there is a new edition of George Nafzigers Imperial Bayonets. It was first published in 2000. I would like to get this book as it seems to have lots of good information. Yet the first edition had some negative reviews for incorrect and missing information. Does any one know if the new edition 2017 is just a reprint or is it a revised version? |

Reprint in so far as I know. If you search TMP, you'll find some recent discussion about it. |

I was sure there would be some discussion on the book on TMP, so I tried the TMP search feature, and all I get is a black white screen. In Chrome and Firefox. That is why I posted this thread. |

TMP's search function was disabled by the editor. I used google and found several tmp messages about Imperial Bayonets imperial bayonets site:theminiaturespage.com |

Yes, to search TMP now you have to go through Google. Hence my comment that the system ist gefucht. It was done for a good reason though, too much demand on the software involved I gather. |

AND it actually works much faster and gives better results. |

You just try searching for names of authors of posts rather than titles……….maybe not so convinced then? Once, it was so easy to see what any individual had posted. Quite impossible now. Google offers a very random selection…from a few months ago to several years back. But not last week! |

Yeah, the loss of author search is pretty serious for me. Little way to follow up on threads. Bill really needs to get a handle on this. The search function was only ok at best. But losing that author search really bites. |

There is also no pm feature (that I can see) and no tick or thanks feature. I think this also applies to the NS. They are both seem to be propriety forum software, that probably need to go with a professional forum program. |
