I was excited when I looked on the FoW website this morning – a Market Garden scenario titled Race to the Bridge.

Then, as I read, I just shook my head…

The 6th and 7th paragraphs are exactly the same, i.e. the 6th is repeated verbatim, and in the middle of the German OB is the following: B Battery, 81 Anti-Tank Battalion (Captain Alphonse Gueymard) with Glider Anti-tank Platoon with 1x Command Carbine, 2x M1 57mm gun, 2x Bazooka Teams
(Weapons – Confident Trained).

Do they not proof their articles?

Fog of war? ;)

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, this is the kind of thing that can pop up after the article has been proofed and is being sent to the server for uploading. Many sites do not proof that step other than checking to make sure it appeared.

Their philosophy is that the user is the proofreader. If enough complain, then they usually fix it.

They are running up on hard times lately, so maybe they don't have the resources. :)

Found other errors following different links. Very sloppy, but kind of in keeping with their philosophy. They have great customer service because they have poor quality control.

Whilst their proof reading has always been a bit iffy, recently they just don't seem to care

Well, closing down the forum will free someone to do better proofreading, right?
