I'm probably going to base some 15mm medieval figures individually on round MDF bases. I noticed that you can get them pre-drilled for magnets (I'm assuming the small rare earth ones by the size of the hole). I can see it being potentially useful for transport/storage and even movement trays. I never seen it done! So is it actually useful enough to justify the cost of the magnets? |

I've done it with figures and buildings. Works a treat. Storage, assuming magnetic or steel lined boxes, movement trays using sabots with compatible magnets, sometimes with magnetic coins (1p and 2p). I'll find my blog postings and let you see. |
