Put some pics up of a Mordheim campaign I hosted over the weekend. Finally got to play a campaign set in the city! This was after many years of collecting – but more importantly, months of building and painting – various medieval ruins! Here is a pic of the map we used:

Pics of the battles and table set-ups are up on the blog.

Where did you get that terrain mat with the cobblestone streets and marked out areas for buildings? Looks really good!

Wonderful!

I did something similar a few years ago. I always wanted to do a campaign but people always complained about teh various stumbling blocks. "I cant commit to a drawn out campaign:. "I dont have figures". "I dont have terrain" And so on. I finally decided to gather as many people together as I could for a one day campaign. I would supply all the figures for eight warbands, rules, and enough terrain for five 4' by 4' tables.

It was alot of fun. I didnt get to play as I was adjudicating and taking pictures and whatnot. Most of the players had never played before but we had a few warm up sessions to teach the rules during the run up to the actual game.

We ended up with four or six players and I think we managed to get four rounds in.
