If you don't have the time to make your own, the Baueda – Roman marching camp is a good alternative. link The camp is not that difficult to build. link |

"Someone to paint it too" Baueda sells prepainted camps but I don't see a pre-painted DBA Roman marching camp on the list. Nonetheless, perhaps they could be persuaded to do one for you. |

I made my own in the photo. Used cardboard for the base, covered with pre-mixed white tile grout. Made the tent out of cereal box cardboard, covered in Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty. Scored the stitching on the tent while the putty was still wet with an X-Acto knife. Then, painted with slightly watered down colors & added flock. Took about 2 hrs to make. |
