If you have Undead armies or forces, what are they primarily composed of?

Skellies?
Zombies?

Skellies by miles.

Wait, no, that's just counting the 25's.

Painted 20mm Zombies!!! quite outnumber them by hundreds.

Zombies are my main foot soldiers for my Age of Sigmar army.

Without counting it looks about even numbers for those two types.

non-existent.

I believe at last count I have something around 1200 zombies, all plastic Wargames Factory/Warlord Games.
On the other hand I only have 200 or so skeletons. But I have the Prince August skeleton molds, so I can make more if I ever need them.

Skellies…"undreds of them"

Dynaman878919 Feb 2018 1:33 p.m. PST

Zombies. If you count the paper standees I have from the old RPG days it is a tossup.

Kropotkin30319 Feb 2018 1:44 p.m. PST

Minifigs VFW Skeletons. Took a long time to collect them. One of these days I may get the Great Bell. Lovely classic figures.

Bones, not moans.

Mutant Q19 Feb 2018 2:02 p.m. PST

Skeletons mainly: Most of them are Reaper Bones, some of them the old Wargames Factory plastics.

Ghosts.

Many zeds, ghouls, and skellies are period interchangeable. Ghosts seem to be less so, possibly because they are supposed to appear as they did in life. Well, moreso than animated rotting or fleshless corpses.

For example, my skellies in jeans and leather jackets can work for lots of different periods, but pirate ghosts are almost exclusively confined to their own genre.

The second would be either skellies or vampires. Again, the occasional Victorian/Edwardian vampire in modern times is OK, but they really have to have period dress. Also, it depends on if you include my ghouls, which double as ancient or savage (gone to ground?) vampires. Then there are the scifi species that are just born as vampiric … if they count as vampires since they weren't turned.

And, of course I am ignoring

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.

I have way more fhtagn than any proper undead.

I have an Army of Darkness army composed mostly of skeletons but also a coupla "Pit People" and a "winged demon." I'm not sure where along the horror spectrum pit people lay.

Legbiter19 Feb 2018 3:19 p.m. PST

Vampires.

Soon to be zombies as soon as my order arrives!

More skeletons than zombies.

Mithmee19 Feb 2018 9:46 p.m. PST

Far more Skeletons than Zombies or Ghouls.

Skellies, by a mile…

Ghosts.

I don't have a lot of Undead, but 75% of what I do have are ghosts.

wizbangs01 Mar 2018 8:29 a.m. PST

My current army is a merger of 2 armies: a GW Vampire Counts Army from 6th edition Warhammer (more zombies than skeletons) and a pre-Vampire Counts 4th Edition Undead army (all skellies). So I think the skellies have it.

It will be a while before I get around to doing a 7th edition Vampire Counts army but on paper my Zombie to Skeleton to Ghoul ratio is about 4:3:2.
