"Starguard Starwar 2250 Colony Ship question" Topic

Does anyone have an old copy of Starwar 2250? If so, would you please give me the ship stats (like total mass, command bridges, crew, power banks, engines, etc.) for a colony ship?

I know they vector at 1/2, carry 1,000 colonists and cost 18,000 points; but not much else.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dug out my old rulebook, brushed back the cobwebs, beat off the defending skeletons … it's been decades since this breathed air.

I see no ship stats for the Colony ship. It took me a while to find the information you reported. Beyond that, there are mostly stats on what number of colonists doing what job they may carry.

Damn. I thought I had them. I have Starguard, Orillia, and warbots and death machines but not the space rules, which is odd given I have lots of the ships. He also list the ships on his site but not the rules.

I figured I would have to design the colony ship as best as I can using the Starship supplement, but I wanted to reach out to any owners of the original publication of Starwar 2250 first. I appreciate you guys looking. I only have the WORD documents, which were copies of the rules, that I downloaded from Tin Soldier years ago. I have never been able to win the actual rules on ebay even though I try when I see the rules. I have all the rulesets except those for the Starguard universe. Again, much thanks for looking.

It was quite a few years ago, but I asked John McEwen if he had the rules to sell anymore. He didn't, and sold me (gave me? don't recall) a photocopy of the rules that he had. Perhaps he could still do something similar. But it's been a long time.

I may have a copy I can spare…
