I just purchased some 'true' 15mm ACW infantry and amongst them were twenty-two stands of Union overcoat-clad enlisted men without any command. I know Empire ('Confederettes') did not make any overcoat infantry and I check the listings of Peter Pig and Stone Mountain and did not see any listed. Old Glory is too large for 'true' 15mm. Does anyone know who makes the command in overcoat figures? Thanks – Hal

Freikorps are true 15, but they don't make command figures in greatcoat. Same for Stone Mountain.

Minifigs would fit size wise, but perhaps not style wise, and they make command in overcoats:

Battle Honors makes generic ACW infantry in overcoats.

Frontier or Yucca are possibilities.

Frontier figures were pretty robust sculpts.

The Yucca 15mm ACW range was limited and is sadly gone forever. I once owned some, but foolishly sold them.

Could they have been Old Glory 15s (not the later Blue Moon Old Glory)?

Here's the links to their overcoat troops which include infantry command figures:

AAHHH, the old trying to get ACW sizes to match. I feel ya. It can be frustrating. Good luck.

(I have no suggestions other than what has been mentioned…)

Norris here. Those are minifig overcoat troops. I'll scour my remaining stuff for command. I don't recall ever having any. The overcoat troops were an experiment in painting to match some of the Confederal command stands. If you want to send them back, I'll gladly reimburse you for them. :)

Cheers
