Two more days to endure before the dreadful grey emptiness of LAFlessness is over. We must be brave. DBDD |

Didn't miss it. Must have minimal impact on the hobby. |

Lets hope when they have finished moving it everything is still there. |
Gone Fishing | 13 Feb 2018 11:27 a.m. PST |
Oh, but it does. Many, many good people there, always with lots of feedback and eye-candy. Love the place! This downtime seems to be happening more often of late. Are they having website problems? |

They are changing servers or hosts or something else techy technical. If you don't know of it (where have you BEEN?), I'll undertake to post a link on that happy, imminent day it returns – hopefully Thursday. DBDD |

I guess people have missed it but Northstar are taking over LAF which I assume is the reason for the current maintenance link And for those who don't know about it LAF is a great forum with a lot of great painters and modellers. It has a very different vibe to TMP (not better just different) |

Lead Adventure is a very good forum for painters and modelers. Alex, the founder and owner, has decided to stop as he has a busy life. He has given it to Nick Eyre of North Star. NIck is moving the hosting to his U.K. Based server. |

Great Miniatures forum. Worth looking at. |

Is it still only Tuesday?! |

I figured it was migrating to a new server due to the change in management. Looking forward to having it back. |

Astonished two manufacturers on this thread have never heard of one of the major gaming forums. Marketing 101 failed? |

TBF LAF has always felt pretty Eurocentric so US companies may not be overly aware of it |

Looks slightly off, but its back! :-) |
Grimmnar | 16 Feb 2018 9:17 p.m. PST |
Altfritz, "slightly off" is a bit of an understatement. I been away from the keyboard for a few days so i didn't know of the migration. I hope there will be more tweaking. Just doesn't seem right. And to the above comments. If your a seller of gaming goods, Eurocentric or not, you should be aware of LAF. Too many companies are plowing only into FB and missing out. For those who dont know that people in Europe, for example, play and buy miniature/wargaming supplies. Grimm |

Odd issue I'm encountering -- my PC browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera) cannot connect to the site. I get a "This site can't be reached" error. However, I *can* connect via a mobile browser on my android phone. Anyone have any ideas why that's happening? |
LeonAdler | 14 Jun 2018 11:28 a.m. PST |
Never got on with LAF guys, admin seems to make life as difficult as they can and maybe it was just the two I encountered but they came across as decidely 'sniffy'. L |
Terry Naylor | 16 Aug 2018 3:17 p.m. PST |
SBminibuy The same happened to me. Got an email saying l was banned .Didn't give any reason but l think it was because l hadn't posted in 6 weeks. When trying to view site just says error. I can connect via android and I'm not banned. I did PM mod but never had the decency to reply. No great loss as forum's are losing there importance. |
