I wanted to recreate the aircraft flew by David Endicott Putnam during World War One. Here is my attempt and a bit of back ground history.

Quite nice! I'm not a fan of the system, but I always enjoy building models and seeing what others have built. In fact, a friend of mine once said "Most people build models so they can play the game. Steve plays the game so he can build models."

Where to the decals come from? While I'm not a fan of 1/144 scale, I've found that for large bombers they work much better, and I've been having trouble finding squadron and personal markings.

My favourite aircraft in my favourite scale.

Thank you for the kind words. There are no decals on the plane. I have painted the camouflage and insignia.

WOW! I consider myself to be pretty good, but your painting skills far outstrip mine.
