After quite a few years of 'nothing happening' dentally, they did the X-rays this time around and suddenly a number of my old fillings need replacing.

No, my dentist is a good one. However, beware of Aspen Dental, they are the worst! My insurance recommended them, I went there once a few years ago, they tried to tell me I needed four root canals! I never went back, and I never needed all those root canals… |

Good luck with the dental work. I never had any really bad experiences with dentistry but just never like going there. I have a mouth full of fillings dating back to the early/mid-1970s. So far so good, they've been holding up OK. Next selfie, flash some of those pearly whites and see if you get a discount off you bill. |
