Building a good sized early war Polish and Italian force (among others). Have not found any "correct" transports for my forces. Wondering what (if anything) people use to motorize their forces.

The GAZ AA looks like the best substitute for the true Polish transport (for infantry). Have not found anything to fit the C2P, C4P or C7P visuals to tow various artillery and anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.

Hoping others out there have solved this issue for me, so I don't have to agonize over using a substitute. Thanks.

Scroll down a bit and there is a light truck and other vehicles for the Italians.

This might suit -- the Poles used a similar model: link

If you don't mind doing some kit bashing, the C2p is basically the TKS with the superstructure removed. Hollow out the area after cutting off the superstructure and add seats, windscreen from other kits.

The C7P used the same chassis as the 7TP tank. The T26 is pretty close too Again remove superstructure and turret and scratch build a canvas housing after hollowing out the area for the crew.

Hey SeattleGamer

Once upon a time I was talking to a guy named PolishPrince on the old Warlord Games Forums about Polish stuff. Even bought an old 7TP and TKS from him.

I just became a contributing member so I can Private Message you but it hasn't kicked in yet.

I don't want to post things as I'm not familiar with this site's rules yet, but I might have your answers for you. I'll give it another day for my membership to show up so I can send you some info you might like.

Was thinking of using an Alfa Romeo Spider for a staff car for my Italians but not sure how many inches of road speed should it have. :=)

Those turns on roads would still get ya in the rules. Only what one or two turns allowed per movement? Hard to show off those ultra fast road gripping speeds with those turns. Just remember that my Polish Horse Wagons can almost keep up with you. =0)
