again the so-called French Guard Marines or Marines of the Guard…why not the US Sailors Corps against Sandino or Charlemagne Peralte, at Belleau Woord or Guadalcanal |

Is the point that they should be Marins (ie sailors), rather than Marines. Some very strange script has gone into the website linked; "Create your own light unit with our reigment (sic) bundle! Or create a small skirmish force that are (sic) hard as nails and ready to really bring the fight (to do what????)". |

For people who only speak English or bad English the confusion is understandable. On the other hand every French Navy aircraft has "Marin" painted on the side so you'd think even mildly engaged wargamers would understand. |
