For those interested in the Byzantine period I posted some pics of new
cavalry that were sculpted by the same individual who did the franco-prussian range for Old Glory. I did include some comparison pics with
other Byzantine ranges.

Thanks Andy! Those look fantastic. Your painting skills have truly done the models justice. Thanks for all your effort in getting them painted up and posted so quickly. Your brushwork always inspires. Best regards!

Rumor has it you had to buy additional tables to hold your Byzantines. That's very nice brush work.Do like those Avers

Those look nice Andy- who manufacturers them?

Aventine will be doing some Byzantines soon- early ones, though.

Perris0707 is the individual who did these and a job well done I might add.
Concerning those early period Byzantines from Aventine I have been patiently waiting for them also.

I am assured that they are getting closer. :-)

I only have these three sets in production right now. Pretty modest start as I am employed in a real job full-time. I am planning on adding a Byzantine cavalry command pack next and then Bulgar Heavy Cavalry to oppose them. I also plan on doing some later Byzantine figures too.

Good job, Perris! And good job painting them, O1.

Now, how soon is soon for the Aventine early Byzantines?
