Has anyone purchased these? I'm trying to determine if they would be better for my VSF project, or if I should just go with Blue Moon? I can't find any decent photos, and I'm trying to figure out if they have gas masks. |

Go with Blue Moon, the AQMF ones are ok but not much verity and expensive |

Is there anything about them that makes them "sci-if", or are they pretty generic? Cost isn't really an issue, but if they're just basic Troops in turbans, then I might as well use the cheaper historical option. |

I haven't seen them but I can say I've never bought anything from BLue moon that was not completely satisfying |

I don't understand the tiny pictures for AQMF figures. Dan |

Thanks for the input guys. I'm not worried about Blue Moon, but if I can buy something that has sci-fi elements without requiring conversion, I'd much rather do that. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anyone that has actually purchased them, haha! |

I remember looking at them and putting them back on the rack. For the most part the AQMF figures tend to be basic WWI figures with a gas mask on and maybe a slight variation of a rifle, but nothing dramatic (there are no Tesla like rifles or things like that). The heavy infantry (British and US) tends to have a bit more detail and some greater variety of weapons. In fact instead of buying the British troops I went with PSC WWI British (and Germans) from the WWI game so that I can get some dual use out of them for WWI and AQMF. The timeframe is the same. I hope this helps. |
