A real combat robot would be to warfare what the machinegun was to WWI.

Same reason ground controlled UAVs will never fully replace fighter pilots inside their own cockpit , a traditional fighter jet is a closed circuit, unhackable. Do you want your grunts to be hacked and turned against you?
