I'm tired of badly modeled but well sculpted female figures with huge bazongas, armor that protects nothing, and surfboard swords. They're not disgusting, just dumb.

No, I turn nothing off. I also don't stifle or ignore. It's not hard to not click on things I don't wish to read, and sometimes folks I find typically annoying surprise me. |

Went to have a look and found it is really the "tango board". Why not invite tango to post all his stuff there and solve the issue. Folk could go there to find tango stuff and see nude figures too? Win win Any nude figure that is not porno-graphic could be put on the relevant era board? |

I didn't have it turned off, but now that you've reminded me to, I will. Not for any prudish reasons, but because it leaves more room on the front page for things that interest me more. And frankly I've found much of its content consisted of miniatures and paintjobs I was already aware of, or were not worth viewing in the first place. |

Any nude figure that is not porno-graphic could be put on the relevant era board? Non-pornographic and not safe for work are two different criteria. Pornographic is a nebulous, ever-shifting concept that is highly contextual and massively inconsistent. NSFW is much more poorly defined than that. I don't have anything turned off, but I don't look at NSFW as "fair use" of Internet resources at work during lunch. I also don't look at the Fantasy (and a couple others) boards since a ton of the scantily dressed male and female figures are NSFW. For example, my "Male Strippers" thread would probably hit NSFW standards at work. Even though everyone is "clothed". The least being a guy in a Speedo, which, based on the source figure from which it was converted (Marvel Prince Namor) is perfectly acceptable to put on the cover of comics targeted at children. Even the guys repainted from Superman fully clothed with just his shirt opened at front (the spandex and "S" is repainted fleshtone) probably would be objectionable. |

Bill, I hope the TMP database is robust enough that you could easily get this question by a simple database query. So I wonder what your purpose is in asking this question. If you wanted to get the reasons for why people have turned it off or not, then ask that as a direct question. |
