Very nice looking game! Thanks for taking the time share.

My mastery of the French language could be considered dangerous or worse. Using Google Translate, although passing on the gist of the sentences, can be, um, interesting.

Very nice setup. Gets me in the mood to game early war. Thanks.

Quite a nice find, Morand!

My mastery of the French language could be considered dangerous or worse. Using Google Translate, although passing on the gist of the sentences, can be, um, interesting.

I agree it is indeed a bit of a challenge.

It's written with a kind of comic-book style of humor. A lot of metaphors, malaprops and deliberate grammatical errors. Plus a strong does of plain old irreverence.

Even if translate.google could do a proper and perfect translation of textbook French (which it most certainly can not), it would not be able to manage this.

But then, I've spent several decades decoding my personal collection of Asterix et Obelix, so this is right up my alley.

Gotta love those Tirailleurs Senegalais and the Citroen Kegresse P16 armored half-track!

Doesn't necessarily have to be only early war, though. Get those forces in your box, and you can roll out campaigns against the Brits in the Levant, or the Germans and Italians in Tunisia (as late as 1943).

I mean, if you're going to face off against a Pz IV in a P16, does it really matter if it's a Pz IVd or a Pz IVg?

These are cult phrases of the dialogues of a French film. This film tells the story of French soldiers in 1940M

HA HA Ha Ha He he heheheh ….

…ça veut dire "ensemble"? With 3 28mm individual figures together behind a hedge in a wargame. I can't stop laughing!
