I have posted a detailed painting tutorial on how I paint miniatures. Everyone has their own favorite methods, but you might be able to pick up some tips for your own use.
The chosen sample figure is that of an RSM Russian Grenadier, shown in painting stages in the above picture. I also include the "Recipe" of paint brands that I used for the figures. Link to the blog posting: link

Very nice. I have always used grey primer as it is a good compromise between black and white. Thank you for posting this. |

The guys on the right look a lot better… The paint listing was interesting…I only use the Reaper Master series as triads. |
