This intriguing campaign was published in the Too Fat Lardies Christmas Special 2017 and sets up a late war British force against a motley collection of Germans from Volkssturm through to Falschimjager. The German player has to juggle with unreliable troops who may surrender even before a shot has been fired, but the British have time running against them. Every delay allows the Germans to build up their strength for the final scenarios. As expected it's been an interesting ride so far. You can read the first AARs here:

Very cool! I think I have this special already, but if not I'll have to grab it!

Very interesting. Game three looks like a hard fight for the Brits.

Great write-up! Is the river scratchbuilt?

An opposed river crossing is always tough, so I was glad this platoon had the guts to stand and fight. This has really thrown the British off schedule.

Thanks. Yes, the river is scratchbuilt. It's an MDF base, the banks are carved from insulation foam and the water is just acrylic paint covered in a generous layer of gloss varnish.

Cool game! Cross of iron for the flak crew, please!

Great looking game.

Defence need not be passive as was so ably demonstrated here! Alas then that the bold forward deployment of the rifle squad and panzerschreck team was not rewarded with victory!
